Femstyle Recipe Book: Refreshing Mint Water

Summer is finally here, and Femstyle is here to help you cool off. This refreshing recipe is simple, fresh, and comes from our very own Founder, Marlene.

Raise a glass of delicious and revitalizing Mint Water with us!


You'll need: 
  1. Fresh mint (3 whole leaves)
  2. 1/2 Lemon 
  3. A glass of fresh water 
  1. Cut off a slice of lemon, removing the seeds. 
  2. Juice half the lemon into the glass and stir.
  3. Add the three leaves of mint, whole. 
  4. Add the lemon slice, halved. 
  5. Refrigerate overnight, or however long you have to let the flavours steep. 
  6. Enjoy! 
The Benefits:
  1. Lemon is a good source of Vitamin C, a primary antioxidant. 
  2. Mint is a good source of Vitamin A and antioxidants. 
  3. It wakes up the metabolism, as lemons support digestion. 
  4. It's delicious and hydrating--the flavour may help your overall water intake by making you want more!
